This year Cornerstone Impressions is turning 15 years old, so our business is a moody teenager. Just kidding, as we turn 15, we are humbled and excited to be where we are today. We are proud of the hard work it took to get here and we are thankful for continued growth year after year. Its crazy to think what started out as a man with a dream and a box of awards has grown into a team of more than 20 people working across six departments, all with the same goal; to make our clients look good.
Some say as you progress in business and life you should always keep your eyes forward. They say not to look back because you’re not going that way. Occasionally though, its important to turn around and reflect on where you started. After all, if you never look back, you can never truly appreciate how far you’ve come.
Our story began in 2002 when Bill Cartmill decided it was time to take a leap of faith…
Here’s hoping our next 15 years are half as wonderful as the first. 🙂
Ordering T-shirts can be a hassle. It starts out simple enough, you’re in a meeting and someone decides it would be fun to make T-shirts for your organization or maybe an upcoming event. Everyone thinks it sounds like a great plan until you all start trying to create a design. If nobody in the group is an artist, how do you make a T-shirt design that doesn’t look like a 6-year-old drew it?
You can go online to a website and create a T-shirt, but then you’re limited to a few clip art options and approximately 12 font choices. You can create the shirt in a word document (bad idea), but then you have no clue how to size it correctly for a T-shirt or how it will look when it’s printed out.
We hear our clients talk about this problem over and over again, and we know it’s no fun! The good news is that artwork for T-shirts does not have to be stressful for you. Simply choose a screen printer with in-house designers. At Cornerstone, we are so lucky to have some amazing designers on our team. They take drawings, ideas and words and turn them into beautiful artwork for print.
Next time you decide you want to make custom T-shirts for an event, all you have to do is let us know. We can brainstorm ideas with you, take any instructions you have for us and create a custom design you’ll love. Check out a few custom designs created by our artists below:
Some of these designs you see above were nothing more than a general idea when they first came to us. The beauty of having in-house graphic designers is that it saves you time, effort and a lot of group discussions over T-shirt designs.
When you’re ready to make tees for your next event, please don’t stress about the design! Let our artists handle everything for you. If you don’t like the design at first, no problem, we’ll make it again. To see more from our designers, follow us here at Just Inkin’ Around and check us out on social media!
